Hi, my name is Janet Crozier and I am the Self-directed Support (SDS) Knowledge Manager at NHS Education for Scotland. Self-directed Support is about individuals who require care and support having choice and control over what that care looks like.  We work with health and social care staff to develop and promote resources relating to Self-directed Support, to share learning and ensure that the workforce understand the changes that the Self-directed Support (Scotland) Act 2013 brings to everyday practice. One of the resources we have developed is our SDS Portal  for practitioners.  I have also been working with Local Authority SDS Leads to develop booklets and e-learning resources.  Please feel free to contact me if we can assist with training or developing resources around Self-directed Support.  All views in my blog are my own!
